Sizes are 3oz weight with 80# Mono with a 6/0 Circle Hook, or 6oz weight with 100# Mono with a 7/0 Circle Hook.
These grouper rigs are ready for dead or live bait. A nice piece of bait sitting on the bottom of the ocean will make any grouper hungry.
Tie the barrel swivel of the grouper rig to your fishing line and put bait on the hook and cast out your line.
When a grouper swallows your bait and starts pulling on your line slowly reel to set the hook. Remember, this is a circle hook so you don't need to yank the rod hard to set the hook. A circle hook will naturally pull into the side of the fish mouth with some tension on the line.
